Jeff and I have now arrived in Yellowstone. We are in our room, which is similar to a college dorm room. Outside our window we have a good view of the 5 foot snow bank. There is about 4 feet of snow on the ground with drifts much higher.

Both pictures above are of hot springs. The first one was boiling and pouring out sulfur smoke. The one on the right is clear because it is over 200 degrees. The picture below on the left is of Gibbons falls. The picture on the right is of a bison that we were probably much too close to.

How's the smell? Uncle Steve remembers it smelling like rotten eggs when he went there when he was about 7 yrs old.
